“We are so thankful to Cameron and her team for organizing this golf tournament,” said Ashley Garrison, Vice President at Montgomery Area Down Syndrome Outreach Group. “We appreciate that our children and adults with Down syndrome were the focus of the event. It was a great day for golf, music, food, and fun!”

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – Country rocker Cameron DuBois continues to build upon her passionate and soulful approach to song crafting, returning to the famed music scene of Muscle Shoals, Alabama to cut a new melodic tribute for single Mothers everywhere called “Modern Day Wonder Woman.” Just in time for Mother’s Day, the new song is available now everywhere digital music is streamed or downloaded (linktr.ee/CameronDuBois), and goes the extra mile to spotlight the Alabama native’s two greatest attributes as a singer-songwriter; her voice and the song’s message.

“This song is dedicated as an early Mother’s Day gift to all the ‘single momma strong’ mothers out there,” said DuBois. “Especially to those who are wearing two or more hats and carrying heavy responsibilities every single day of their lives.”

Cameron recently cut the track at The NuttHouse Studio, and also picked up her first ever production credit on a song. Working alongside famed Muscle Shoals’ Songwriter and Producer Jimmy Thrasher (Daryl Worley, Michael A. Curtis, Billy Lawson) on both the writing and production of the song, Cameron was excited to step into a new role that was beyond her norm.

“My daughter Molly was a single Mom for a short while,” Thrasher added. “I watched her do the nearly impossible daily. I also have friends who are single Moms whose stories are the same. They truly are a ‘Modern Day Wonder Woman.’”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country rock singer-songwriter Cameron DuBois returns with “Let Him Miss Me,” her soulful and riveting new country ballad available now across all major digital music and streaming platforms [linktr.ee/CameronDuBois]. Originally written by hit songwriter Jimmy Yeary (Rascal Flatts, Joe Diffie, Martina McBride), and recorded at Skaggs Place Studio just outside of Nashville, this melodic tune shows Cameron’s softer side, standing out among the rising star’s diverse song catalog.

The Montgomery, Alabama native is also introducing “Let Him Miss Me” to the 650 AM WSM audience as the current featured Artist Spotlight this week: wsmradio.com/wsm-artist-spotlight

”Let Him Miss Me” tells the story of being in love with someone who didn’t initially put you first, and who now wants you back. However, before taking them back, you want them to understand the same feeling you felt when they left.

“What I learned from this song is understanding your own independent worth first, no matter how much it hurts,” DuBois said. “It is so easy to appear strong and independent to the public’s eye, even though you may be hurting deep down inside. What I love about this ballad is it paints the picture of being emotionally strong and weak at the same time. You understand everything Yeary was feeling when he wrote it.”

“Cameron DuBois’s new holiday song, ‘Merry Christmas, Wherever You Are,’ soulfully captures the melancholy of a lonely Christmas in a year that a lot of folks need an alternative to the constant barrage of holly-jolly.”
— Josh Jackson, Paste Magazine

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Ascending singer-songwriter Cameron DuBois a multistylist who’s equally country, soul and rock – exclusively premiered a live performance video with Country Rebel on December 15, singing “Your Cheatin’ Heart” from inside the Hank Williams Museum in her hometown of Montgomery, Alabama. Standing only a few feet from William’s iconic 1952 Baby Blue Cadillac, DuBois gives a soulful remake of the pioneering country singer’s 1953 hit song, released shortly after his untimely death.

“Having been raised in Montgomery, this is a huge honor to perform my version of ‘Your Cheatin’ Heart,’ right in front of Hank’s very own Cadillac,” said DuBois. “I’d like to thank the Hank Williams Museum for allowing me to film this special segment for Country Rebel. I also want to thank everyone who helped put this project together.”

DuBois has been on the rise in 2020, releasing three singles which show her depth as a singer-songwriter, including the uplifting “Peace” and the sassy rocker “Bridges,” whose Josh Sikkema directed video recently surpassed more than 1 million digital views, along with TV premieres on The Country Network and The Heartland Network.

On December 4 Cameron released her first original holiday song, featuring Bama Sound, called “Merry Christmas, Wherever You Are,” which was exclusively premiered by Guitar Girl Magazine. Described by PASTE Magazine’s Editor-In-Chief Josh Jackson as an “alternative to the constant barrage of holly-jolly,” it was also among their annual Holiday sampler collection [click to preview]. Produced by Muscle Shoals veteran Bill Hinds (Roy Orbison, Shenandoah, Sawyer Brown), the track is available everywhere digital music is sold and streamed.
