JOHN PAYCHECK

About John PayCheck:

John PayCheck is a multi-talented country singer-songwriter, musician and independent recording artist who embodies the traditions of the genre, while also bringing a more modern approach to his own sound. Aside from also being the only son of country music legend & Grand Ole’ Opry member Johnny PayCheck, John has also pursued careers as a U.S. Army Combat Aviator, and a Lavender Farmer. John is also a devoted family man, and a proud steward of his musical heritage.

His debut single “Lone Stars” from We All Have a Story landed on the Music Row charts and marked his return to the genre after a 20-year pause. He followed it with his critically praised sophomore album More Days Behind, and in May 2024, he performed on the Grand Ole’ Opry to honor his father on Opry Country Classics. John is currently working on his third album, slated for release in 2026.

John has written with Erin Enderlin and Scott Gabbey, is a CMA member and BMI songwriter, and has shared the stage with Chris Janson, Dallas Moore, Confederate Railroad, and more.

With a voice rooted in tradition and a spirit shaped by service, John PayCheck is keeping country music honest—one song at a time.
