LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 30, 2025)Sixteen Bones is an alt-folk rock music project between two established Louisville-based musicians; songwriter, metal rock vocalist and independent recording artist David “Sailor” Bryant and singer-songwriter Bryan Fox. On Friday, October 31 they’ll unveil their sophomore album entitled Signs, Symptoms & Other Ill Conditions, available everywhere digitally [DSP pre-save | Apple pre-order]. Bryan Fox also co-wrote, produced, mixed and engineered the album at his Foxhole Studios in Louisville, Kentucky.

“This album is a raw, unflinching odyssey into my mind that serves as my confessional scrawled in the margins of a well-worn Bible,” Sailor said. “In a music landscape often dominated by superficial gloss, I feel this album delivers a gut-punch of personal honesty.”

LEO Weekly recently offered fans an audio track premiere [click to listen] of “The Devil In Me,” a song which Sailor wrote about loss of a relationship from substance abuse.

“This song is a raw and emotional song about a relationship shattered by alcoholism,” Sailor explained. “It explores the pain, betrayal, and struggle of loving someone while being lost in their addiction.”

Earlier this month, Sailor released the first teaser track, “Smoking Bones,“ which can be streamed now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube, Pandora & Deezer.

Album Release Party Planned Oct. 30 in LaGrange, Ky.
Sailor and Bryan Fox will celebrate the release of the new album project with an acoustic performance of the album on Thursday, Oct. 30 at Ink Well Tattoo (108 E. Main St. LaGrange, Kentucky). The event is FREE and open to the public and will begin at 7pm EST.

About David “Sailor” Bryant:
David “Sailor” Bryant is a multi-talented singer-songwriter and recording artist from Louisville, Kentucky whose vocal talents have been expressed across multiple genres of rock music. He is best known for his work as the lead vocalist for Century Media Recording Artist My Own Victim, along with several prominent independent musical projects from Kentucky. His genre-hopping approach has led him to forming hard rock and metal bands like Surviving Thalia, Sixteen Bones, SxWxP (Saint Whiskey Prophecies), The Scars of Judas and more recently, groove metal band Warplan

Bryant is the major creative force and songwriter behind the alt-folk rock acoustic studio project Sixteen Bones, collaborating with prominent Louisville-based recording artist and songwriter Bryan Fox (End of Me) on the music. Bryant’s diverse vocal style and guitar playing allows him to shift from the extremes of his hard rock and metal projects to the extreme somber and down-trodden vocal approach in Sixteen Bones, where he writes songs with Bryan Fox of abandonment, loneliness, solitude, loss and unimaginable amounts of pain.

Sailor is typically regarded as one of the greatest on-stage performers and front men from Louisville, Kentucky’s niche hard rock and metal music scenes. He’s known for giving highly animated on-stage performances and sporting a tell-it-like-it-is attitude, which became emblematic during his tenure with My Own Victim. As a vocalist, Bryant draws and credits many inspirations from metal and rock icons like Phil Anselmo (Pantera & Down), Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society), Rob Flynn (Machine Head), Ryan McCombs (Soil), Travis Meeks (Days of the New), Dax Riggs (Acid Bath) & Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch).

About Bryan Fox:
Bryan Fox exploded onto Kentucky’s music scene in 2000 when his alt-rock band End Of Me became the first independent group in more than a decade to place a single in regular rotation on WLRS, an active rock station in Fox’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Sustained radio airplay, along with features in various print and online media throughout the region made Bryan Fox a household name in the Louisville music scene.

His hilarious and sometimes thought provoking music videos have enjoyed almost 1,000,000 views collectively. Bryan is finishing up his newest solo album, With Teeth, released in 2024, contains several notable collaborations with artists such as Nappy Roots, Members of Steel Panther, Billy Grey from Fozzy, Charlie Parra del Riego, the Mandevilles, and more. Bryan’s live band, Bryan Fox and the Good Chiggens, performs regularly in Louisville.
