JONESVILLE, La. (August 25, 2022) – Southern soul rock singer-songwriter Bryce McGlothin shows his heartfelt remorse for the loss of his high school friend Lily Grace McCarthy in his recently released poignant single, “Too Late To Say,” available now on all digital music platforms, or at linktr.ee/brycemcglothinmusic. The Jonesville, Louisiana native also released a new tribute music video on his YouTube channel with photos of Lily, who passed away all too soon in 2021 from a car wreck.
“I feel like this song really shows what I felt after Lily passed away,” Bryce said. “She was always there to listen to any of my problems, or any of my troubles, which is what my thought process was while writing the first verse. Her loss was a devastating blow to our small-town, tight knit community, and we are still healing. I just hope my song helps keep her memory alive. Forever.”
Since last year, Bryce has been supportive of, and has helped raise money for the Lily Grace McCarthy Memorial Scholarship, a charitable scholarship fund created in her honor.
“Lily was a shining light for all of the people whose lives she took part in,” Bryce continued. “Not only will this scholarship help some students in need, but it is another reminder of how kind and generous she always was.”
The breakout singer-songwriter has been writing and recording with hit-making Nashville songwriter & producer Britton Cameron (Don Williams, Jon Pardi, Dillon Carmichael), who Bryce also co-wrote “Too Late To Say” with. McGlothin is being developed by PCG Artist Development in Nashville, under the direction of Bernard Porter.
