NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 09, 2022)Memories of Honor, a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization based in Nashville is partnering with Conrad Nashville during the month of November to launch a special fundraising effort for their Enduring Heroes Program. Conrad Nashville is displaying an honorary Fallen Soldiers Table within their hotel lobby to raise awareness of the program, along with sponsoring a special webpage for the general public to donate to throughout the month of November.

Through the Enduring Heroes Program, Memories of Honor creates athletic-activity-based retreats and sponsors veterans and surviving family members to fitness-based activities. These athletic retreats give a deep connection between individuals who often feel alone and isolated. It gives them a healthy and safe environment to share, find comfort, and build lifelong friendships. Thus, they can use the experience(s) to honor their fallen teammate, loved one, or someone they’ve never met. The funds raised through this effort will go directly to support Memories of Honor’s annual hiking retreat in Las Cruces, New Mexico at the Bataan Memorial Death March at the White Sands Missile Range.

Donations received will help provide the following:

  • Group housing
  • Entry fee into the Bataan Memorial Death March
  • Team gear
  • Help offset travel expenses for those in need

“We believe our fallen service members and their families deserve to be honored and remembered not just on Memorial Day, but every day,” said Amy Cotta, founder of Memories of Honor. “Our mission is to make every day Memorial Day by creating living, breathing memorials so no life loss as a result of serving our country goes forgotten.”
