SOMERSET, Ky. – Prodigy teen pop songwriter and Somerset native Will Muse is excited to announce the continuation of his fourth annual Music For Wishes charity concert on Friday, June 12 at 6pm ET. The FREE-to-watch charity show will feature performances given by Will Muse, and fellow Kentucky songwriters Maria McNeil with Devin Phelps, and Britton Cameron. Music For Wishes  is going virtual for the first time on Facebook Live @WillMuseMusic, with 100% of the show’s donated proceeds directly benefiting Make-A-Wish® Kentucky.

“Due to the current pandemic, we have sadly not been able to hold an in-person event this year,” said Muse. “The fourth annual Music for Wishes will be an online livestream. Make-A-Wish is near and dear to my heart, so my goal is to raise as much money as possible for the six children with pending wishes in the Somerset area. Despite the crisis we are going through, there are still many children waiting on life-changing wishes. I am very excited to be joined by the talented Britton Cameron along with Maria McNeil and Devin Phelps.”

Music For Wishes has raised more than $85,000 for Make-A-Wish® Kentucky since its inception in 2017, and has been made possible by the generous support of the Somerset community, which Muse, his mother Allison, and a dedicated committee of volunteers coordinate together. Past musical performance guests have included Grand Ole Opry member Pam Tillis, along with Molly Porter, Towne, Maria McNeil, The Broken Locals, and Britton Cameron.

“Will is an extraordinary young man who saw a need in his community and stepped up to meet that need,” said Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana President and CEO Stephanie McCormick. “Many of the wishes we grant are for children Will’s age. To see him giving back to his peers is incredibly heartwarming and we’re so fortunate to call him a part of the Make-A-Wish family.”

Why i65 LIVE formed and how funds raised are distributed
With the mandatory swift American response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and current public safety concerns, performing artists, supporting organizations and events all across America have closed, cancelled or rescheduled most of their activities. The livelihoods of many performing artists and entertainment industry professionals were also cut-off or significantly reduced. Given that all live entertainment has immediately shifted to an online-streaming method of consumption for fans, artists and performers must now ask for their support by way of donations and tips, through online streamed events. i65 LIVE was created to support this new reality.

100% of all sponsorships and donations raised from i65 LIVE will directly benefit and be divided among the show’s performing artists (@50%), the production staff (@25%), the broadcast studios (@15%), and a portion also being donated to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund (@10%). All donations and tips will ONLY be accepted through the show’s website at i65Live.com/donate.

Will Muse to be featured on Romeo Entertainment Group’s ‘Couch Concert Series’
The first Saturday in May – an unofficial holiday in the Bluegrass State – was originally slated to be the 146th running of the Kentucky Derby, pre-pandemic. Muse, a proud Kentuckian, nevertheless will celebrate by way of a livestream concert for Romeo Entertainment Group’s ‘Couch Concert Series’ on Saturday, May 2 at 4pm ET/3pm CT. The show will be streamed LIVE at Romeo Entertainment Group’s Instagram page (Instagram.com/romeoentgroup), with a recap of the live performance posted to their Facebook page (Facebook.com/RomeoEntGroup) immediately after the initial live stream.

Romeo Entertainment Group, one of America’s largest independent buyers of entertainment, began presenting the ‘Couch Concert Series’ on Wednesday, March 18th in an effort to keep the music playing and to entertain those at home during times of social distancing.

About Will Muse:
Will’s immersion into music began at age five, when his mom Allison signed him up for guitar lessons, quickly followed by piano instruction. He had a natural gift for the electric guitar and aspired to be the next Slash during his formative years. The talented 16-year old from Somerset, Kentucky is looking forward to fulfilling a dream of his own when he can put together a tour to go out and connect with his fans. While he has been developing his artistry onstage for several years, winning an audition at 13, and performing at the Master Musicians Festival with Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and later opening for headliner Chris Knight at the Harvest Moon Festival, Muse loves the idea of headlining his own show where he can showcase his original music, along with songs that were instrumental in developing his passion for music. He cites his primary musical influences as The Beatles, Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Elton John, George Michael and Prince.
